Frances was born and raised in South Africa, where she started her career as an interiors photographer.

In 2001 she moved to New York and began shooting food for various editorial and advertising clients.

Working alongside some of the greatest names in the culinary world, her love of cooking and entertaining blossomed within the food culture of New York City.

She formally began her catering business in the summer of 2018.

Home is still New York City where she lives with her daughter.
